Live Sharing Requirements
Live Sharing lets selected people view your health status automatically based on data from your ring.
To work properly, the following conditions apply:
Basic Requirements:
- The NAVA app must be active on your phone (not closed by the system).
- Your phone must be near the ring, with Bluetooth enabled.
- It is recommended to open the app at least once every day to maintain background activity.
Sleep Status:
- Falling asleep is usually detected 10–15 minutes after it happens.
-
Waking up may take longer to confirm and can take up to ~75 minutes. Wake-up detection can be faster if you:
- open the app,
- remove the ring,
- or place the ring on the charger.
The sleep and wake-up times shown always reflect the actual times, not when the update was sent.
Heart Rate, Blood Oxygen & Respiration
- Live Sharing shows the latest available measurement.
- If a value is detected outside the normal range, a notification may be sent.
- Updates depend on the app being active and connected to the ring.
Platform Notes
- Live Sharing generally works more reliably on Android.
- On iOS, background activity is more limited by the system, which may occasionally delay updates.
Important
- Live Sharing is automatic and event-based, not continuous 24/7 monitoring.
- Updates are delivered on a best-effort basis, depending on connectivity and system conditions.
